At last I’ve found the moment to share these wonderful Open Farm Sunday photos by Steve Watts last weekend on 5 June. There was also scarecrow making, Shropshire Wildlife Trust, a deer management display, one of our gamekeepers Dave Powell with pheasant chicks, Paint & Create pottery painting of farm animals (Francis adores his), hobby horse racing, a milling engine, Rapeseed oil tasting by Bennett & Dunn, butcher demos, Churchfields Icecream, pig racing (sorry, only battery & operated ones which are so funny) & more. Plus of course baby / young animals at Scotty’s Animal Park.
Lucky it wasn’t held when rain & thunder storms are forecast!
