It’s National Pie Week (Mon 7—Sun 13 March) our head chef at Apley Farm Shop has been extra busy making these steak, ale & kidney pies as well as several others. This is Dish of the Week, served with buttered mash & Shropshire carrots—£8.95.
Cheese of the week is vignotte triple cream cheese
at £1.52 per 100g.
Julie’s Cake of the Week is Lemon Bakewell Tart (£2.50 in the cafe, £1.50 in the shop).
On the Apley Home Farm, Adrian has been calving cows, fertilising crops & fencing around new trees in Apley Park (to protect them from the cattle who graze there).
