March at AFS thumbnail for film, jpegClick HERE to see our latest film showing what’s on at Apley Farm Shop in March. Key events this month are Mothers’ Day lunches & Afternoon Teas on Sunday 6 March & our Apley Easter Funday on bank holiday Monday 28 March.

And AgWa Media has just sent me the finished Winter at Apley film – just click HERE. It covers Dec-Jan-Feb & it means we now have a Year at Apley on film for the first time ever, which is great. It also gives us a really useful bank of footage to use in the future too.

The last week has been so busy, I’ve got a bit behind, so now have lots of snippets to share: the sugar debate, British sausages don’t always contain British meat, our online DeliShop customer profiles, why we have bird boxes in Apley Walled Garden, how we’re helping Operation Orphan, Paint & Create coming to Apley on Mothers’ Day, organising the Apley Bake Off (2 May), tree planting on the Apley Estate, floral Easter basket design class on 19 March, Apley Plant Centre’s spring news, national butchers’ week starts 14 March, Chicken Apley (our version of Chicken Kiev), bookings by groups & schools for our Walled Garden tours, the smallest goat in Shropshire at Scotty’s, Maxcard offers, the couple who got engaged at Apley Farm Shop this Valentine’s day, St David’s Day yesterday & World Book Day tomorrow … all coming up !
