At Apley Farm Shop, everyone’s been getting ready for our 3rd Spookley Pumpkin Festival week. This afternoon when I called Tina, our General Manager, she was up a ladder decorating this pumpkin cavern which I think looks great. I jumped on my bike one morning a few weeks ago to whizz to a street lined with fabric & textiles shops. I bought as much orange & black lining as I could fit in my basket & am delighted to see it put to use here.

I heard Phil has been down on the pumpkin patch today, getting it ready for children to come & select theirs to carve [in this tent]. Look out for an article in the Bridgnorth Journal about his pumpkins & squashes grown in Apley Walled Garden. Also, in case you missed the article online about Apley Walled Garden in the Shropshire Star on Monday (12 Oct), click HERE to read it again.
