It’ll be running for 7 weeks every Thursday from 4 June to 16 July, 4-5.30pm including 30 mins free play & costing £3.50 per child. Booking is not vital, but recommended as places are limited.

Here’s what Lydia has sent me: “Music & performance help to build children’s confidence & team skills. Each week they will learn a different element of performance & different types of music. By the end of the 7 week club, working in a group, they will aim to perform a song & dance together.” She’s put together a fantastic & detailed programme. This is a great opportunity to work with a qualified musician who also enjoys working with children.

Week 1 – Thursday 4th June – Introduction to the 7 week performance workshop
Week 2 – Thursday 11th June – The importance of warming up with the influence of Uptown Funk. Starting work on the vocals for our performance
Week 3 – Thursday 18th June – The use of music. More work on our overall performance
Week 4 – Thursday 26th June – Creating a dance routine to fit with our end performance
Week 5 – Thursday 2nd July – The importance of working as a team & performing as a soloist. More work on our performance
Week 6 – Thursday 9th July – The art of performance. More work of the performance
Week 7 – Thursday 16th July – Discussing what we have learnt over the last 7 weeks with a presentation & a performance to the parents
