Apley Farm Shop Mother’s Day Afternoon Teas menu

2015-03-02, Mother's Day Afternoon Tea - menu

Our Valentine’s Day Afternoon Teas were so well received, thanks to all the careful planning by Tina & Julie, that we’re continuing them for Mother’s Day. Some will be in The Creamery Café & some in our separate function room. Simultaneously, we’re offering Mother’s Day lunches, also 12-4pm.

Lord Hamilton’s specially selected tea (an old friend of his is a tea broker & really knows his teas), Julie’s cakes & Martin’s mini sandwiches provide Shropshire’s answer to tea at Fortnums or the Ritz ! We’re even offering a complimentary glass of Prosecco !

Just in time for Mother’s Day, we have great news that Lottie’s are stocking the Joules clothing range from mid-March. She’s already selling Joules childrenswear & wellies – which are perfect if you are going up to visit Scotty’s Animal Park – but will also be adding ladies’ & gentlemen’s & clothing & footwear. Floral patterns are perfect for Springtime & her shop is full of wonderful present ideas – perfect & just in time for Mother’s Day.

For any children wishing to make a Mother’s Day card, they can drop in on Thursday 5 & Friday 6 March, 12-4pm to Pigg’s Playbarn to get creative. Click HERE for more details. Suitable for 2-11 year olds. Parental supervision at all times. Price includes play in Pigg’s Playbarn. £3.50 for under 2s, £4 for over 2s.

In the Pigg’s Playbarn After School Science Club this afternoon 4-5pm, children will be doing the oobleck experiment – click HERE for more details !
